The Wonders of South Africa
June 11-22, 2009

This tour begins in Cape Town, a city dominated by a towering, table-shaped mountain set on a peninsula of soaring, rocky heights and lush valleys, where two oceans converge - Indian and Atlantic. On this travel program we’ll visit Cape Town, Oudtshoorn, Knysna, Kruger National Park, and Hazy View with highlights to include rare African penguins, colorful seaside villages and fishing harbors, wine sampling at an historic 300-year old wine estate, Oudtshoorn Ostrich Ranch, Cango Caves, Featherbed Nature Reserve, and Boma African dinner.

As one of Africa's top safari destinations, Kruger National Park offers visitors the iconic African safari - a dramatic production rich in lion prides, elephant herds and thousands of other animals, played out against shifting backdrops of savannah, forest, river and mountain. The Kruger safari experience provides unspoiled wilderness and a huge density and diversity of animals. This touring itinerary will introduce you not only to the vast wildlife of the game reserve, but also to the beautiful scenery of a dramatic coastline and the exotic culture of South Africa.
