Transfer Confirmation
of Expected Attendance

  • Initial admission of all transfer students for the spring, summer, or fall semester is based on a preliminary review of potential transferable courses earned and cumulative GPA.
  • A complete evaluation of all transfer coursework will be performed upon confirmation notification of the student’s intention to enroll at NIU.
  • Evaluations will be prioritized by the date confirmations are received (allow 4-6 weeks minimum,  processing times may vary with work load).
  • You must confirm your intention to enroll at NIU to be invited to new Transfer Student Orientation for initial academic advisement and course registration.
  • For Spring Semester 2009, Summer Session 2009 or Fall Semester 2009

 


Confirmation of Expected Transfer Attendance for 2009 Semesters 
MyNIUMyNIU Student Portal

  • Confirm your intention to enroll for your 2009 semester, once you have received an admissions offer, by using the MyNIU procedures.
    • Confirmed Transfer students are invited to attend new Transfer Student Orientation for initial academic advising and course registration.
    • Students who do not notify the admissions office of their intention to enroll may forfeit their seat in the new term.
    • Confirmations received will be honored on a space available basis.
    • There is no confirmation fee required.

Remember:

  • To confirm your intention to enroll as a new transfer student, first read the instructions on how to Access MyNIU.
  • Enter the MyNIU portal at the bottom of the instructions using your AccountID/zID and Password.
  • Confirm intent to enroll for your admissions offer on your MYNIU page.
